| Assam, Octagonal Silver Rupee, 11.03g, Gadadhara Simha (Siu-pat-pha) (1681-1696), Ahom legends legends on both sides within a double linear border with beads, dated year 33 (of the 60 year cycle), legends in four lines on each side within the usual border, Obv: Kao boi/ pha Leng-/don heu/chiu, lion facing right at bottom right chasing a bird at upper right, Rev: Chao Siu-/pat-pha pi/n khun lak/-ni Rai-san. Reverse die perfectly struck at 12 o'clock. (A.Mitra. 21, RB. E3.1 type). Toned Extremely Fine, Very Rare. |
