Victoria Queen, Crimea Medal, Silver, 39.44g with cloth, 1 bar Sebastopol, 1854, Rev: a standing Roman warrior about to receive a laurel crown from a flying figure of victory, the word CRIMEA inscribed to the left, awarded to 1843 PTE G.MC LUCKIE. 90th FOOT, The Sebastopol clasp records his involvement in the siege and fall of Sebastopol. The Crimea Medal was awarded to men of the British units (land and naval) which fought in the Crimean War of 1854–56. Almost Uncirculated, Very Rare. |
