Post Mauryan, Ancient Vidarbha region of Maharashtra (c. 3rd – 2nd c. BC), 3.97g, 21.97x21.60 mm, uninscribed Copper Punch-mark coin, Obv: Five punches, Elephant with parasol as centre punch, Ujjain symbol, tree, Bull probably (with mud deposit) and Srivatsa, Rev: Uniface. The occurance of a 'Srivatsa' is a very unique feature in this series and probably the first known. Very Fine. Extremely Rare. |
