| Western Kshatrapas, Kardamaka Family, Samghadaman, son of Rudrasimha I, (227 AD), as Kshatrapa, SE 149, Silver Drachma, 2.20gm, 14.64x16.09mm, Obv: bust of king facing right, date behind, corrupt Greek legend around, Rev: three arched hill with crescent in centre, moon to left and sun to right, Brahmi legend in hybrid Prakrit-Sanskrit: Rajno Mahakshatrapasa Rudrasihasaputrasa Rajno Kshatrapasa Saghadamna. The ephemeral ruler Sangadaman or Samghadama is known to have struck coins only in SE 149 when he assumed the titles of Mahakshatrapa. These coins of SE 149 are also considered as great rarity in Kshatrapa coinage. He was one of the five sons of mighty Rudrasimha I, perhaps fourth or fifth in the order. A. Fishman 19.1.149.
