Prof. Devendra Handa attributed above coins in Mahadeva type (bull & elephant) in his book ‘Tribal Coins of Ancient India’. This coin is a new variety becouse of its symbology. The reverse die seems to have shifted slightly while striking, so the elephant and part of legend are blurred. Cunningham and Allan was attributed to Audumbaras tribe.
