Dharmavijaya was the 27th ruler of Chandra Kingdom he ruled for 36 years from 665 AD to 701 AD. Chandra Kingdom was one of the last Buddhist kingdom which ruled the Samatata region of Bengal as well as northern Arakan. Chandrapur University in Srihatta was as large as like Nalanda University was founded by King Srichandra of Chandra dynasty.
