Within circle with outer border of beaded annulets. Rev: Sri Sri Yuta Go/vinda Manikya/ Deva Sri Gunava/ti Maha Devyau, in square with ornamented borders. R&B 211. Very Fine, Rare.
After the death of Kalyan Manikya, Govinda Manikya ascend the throne but he ruled for only one year. Later He again ascend the throne after Chattra Manikya. He was very pious. He also introduced Shiva Lingam in coins like his father. During his reign many temples were built in Tripura kingdom. His wife Gunavati also build Gunavati Temple in Agartala. Unfortunately, He was defeated and dethroned by his half-brother Nakshatra Rai who usurped the Gadi.
