The weight-loss of the coin, was the result of the coin's burial (ship wreck) in the sea of British East India ship, named Arniston, which sank off the coast in South Africa, near the village of Waenhuiskrans, only six people survived among the 378 persons on board, and later, the town was renamed Arniston, known till the present day.
