Akbar (AH 963-1014/1556-1605 AD) Silver Square Rupee, 11.27g, Dar-ul-Saltanat Lahore Mint with beautiful mint mark, AH 987, Obv: The Kalima Shahada around the four Caliphs' names, Rev: "Jalal ud-din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi" Hijri year 987 in centre, "khald allahu ta'ala mulkahu" at the top, zarb with epithet "Dar ul Saltanat Lahore" at the bottom. Toned, Very Fine. Scarce.
