Ujjayini, King Vijayaka (2nd century BC), Copper, 2,68g, 18.50x16.09, Obv: Bull standing to right and in front of it is a spear-like object while below its mouth is Brahmi legend, Vijayaka, Rev: Ujjayini symbol with a crescent in each orb, for the type, (Inscribed coins of Ujjayini are very rare to come across the series where as name of a ruler on these coins is exceedingly rare to appear, except for a couple of names like the Vijaya.) Very Fine, Extremely Rare. |
