Punch Marked, Billon Karshapana from Chandraketugarh (West Bengal), (c. 2nd Century BC), 2.25g, 13.40x14.62mm, Obv: Three punches: 1) Ship, 2) Wheel and 3) six-armed symbol. Rev: One punch of a Sankha or Conch shell. Rajgor attributes these coins to 'Vanga Janapada' (series 4, p. 30) but their fabric, weight and nature of punches makes it certain that they are chronologically placed in the post-Mauryan epoch.
