| Mauryan Period, Universal Type, Cast Copper, 3.30g, 13.04 x 13.03mm, Obv: Elephant walking to left side above bold Hollow cross, front of triangular headed standard and on left bottom swastika, Rev: Tree-in-railing on left in centre inverted Taurin and on right three arched hill above crescent and below triangular headed standard. Placement of hollow cross symbol usually on rev but on this specimen hollow cross above elephant. Unpublished. Very Fine, Rare. |
