Ujjaini, King Vijayaka (2nd century BC), Copper, 2.66g, 15-17mm, Obv: Bull standing to right and in front of it is a spear-like object while below its mouth is Brahmi legend, Vijayaka, Rev: Ujjayini symbol with a crescent in each orb, for the type, Inscribed coins of Ujjaini are very rare to come across the series where as name of a ruler on these coins is exceedingly rare to appear, except for a couple of names like the Vijaya. Very Fine, Extremely Rare. |
