| Assam, Octagonal Silver Rupee, 10.95g, Gadadhara Simha (Siu-pat-pha) (1681-1696), Ahom legends legends on both sides within a double linear border with beads, dated year 33 (of the 60 year cycle), legends in four lines on each side within the usual border, Obv: Kao boi/ pha Leng-/don heu/chiu, bird crested at bottom right & without flower of dots. Rev: Chao Siu-/pat-pha pi/n khun lak/-ni Rai-san, lion at lower right. Reverse die struck at 11 o'clock. Broad Flan (A.Mitra. 27 type, RB. E8.2 type unlisted). Very Fine, Rare. |
