Hephthalites, Nezak Huns, Vakhu Deva, (Ca. 720 AD), Silver Drachm, 3.11g, 31.40x31.96mm, Obv: Crowned Sasanian style bust to right, with lion's head between the wings of the crown, Late Brahmi legends in fields around the bust reading "Sri VaJaRa VaKhu DeVaH"(right field to left field), Cursive Bactrian legend "Sri Bago Ozorko Boohono Dava Bago Srio Shaho" around rim, Counter mark below neck, Rev: Fire altar flanked by attendants. Pahlavi legend "Afzui piy shamrat" in right and left fields, Cursive Bactrian legend around. Interesting and rare coin from mints of Zabulistan or Seistan. Ref: Gobl 244 MACW 1560.
