Although Jahangir never ventured further deep in Gujarat than Ahmedabad and Khambhat, the local rulers paid their tribute by visiting him at the Durbar in Ahmedabad and presenting him coins minted by them in his name. The best example of these coins are Jahangiri Koris of Kutch state, and the present coin. This Delwara mint should not be confused with the famous Jain shrine near Mount Abu, this Delwara is still a historic town near Una and Diu .About Very Fine, Very Scarce. |
