Vijayanagara kingdom, Krishnadevaraya, 1509-29 AD, Gold Pratapa (Half Varaha,) 1.68g, 9.29x8.65 mm, Obv: Well centered and beautiful motif of the divine baby Balakrishna seated wearing the sacred thread (Yagnopavita), He is holding a ball of butter in right hand and his left hand is stretched in ease, The seated Balakrishna is flanked by Conch(Shanka) and Discus(Chakra), Rev: Legend in Nagari script in three lines reading “ShriPra/TaPaKruShna/RaYa”.
