Baroda, Silver Rupee, 11.35g, Sankheda Mint, partly date visible on top of obverse, INO Shah Alam II, Sword mint mark, partly mint seen. There was evidence that a mint was operated as Sankheda by two goldsmiths namely Jassa Soni and Kaka Soni during (1790-1810 AD). These coins must therefore be attributed to Govind Rao Gaikwad (2nd reign) or Manaji Rao Gaikwad as regent for Sayaji Rao I Gaikwad. KM Unlisted. Very Fine, Rare. |
