Cambay- Gulf of Khambhat region - Copper Kachcha Paisa, 8.03g, countermarked 'GB' on a coin of Nizams of Hyderabad AH 1238, struck in a private mint at Paithan. GB' is believed to stand for 'Gogha Bunder' or 'Government of Baroda'. The coin circulation on the Gulf of Cambay coast depended heavily on coins imported from other regions. These coins were often countermarked as they accrued new values and exchange rates when they passed from one commercial centre to another. About Very Fine, Rare.
