Madras Presdiency, Silver, 0.85, 0.84g (2 Coins), Fanam, (1807-1808 AD First Issue & 1808-1812 Second Issue), 1) Obv: star between crossed branches & 'Fanam' in English above, Rev: star in centre within circle with 'Ruka' in Telugu and 'Panam' in Tamil around circle. 2) Obv: A shaped Buckle garter encircling the central design, 'Falam' in Persian in centre', Fanam' in English around, surrounded by dotted Border, Rev: A Ribbon, the ends seperated by a star, 'Ruka' in Telugu in Centre and 'Panam' in Tamil in outer garter.
