Sikh Empire Silver Rupee, 11.10g, Buriya Chiefs, INO Shah Alam II, Najibabad (Pseudo), AH (12)21/47 RY, full katar, rising flower buds, etc these issues are said to be minted in Jagadhri (Haryana). “Old Jagadree” rupee, struck by Rani Sookum, whose identity has so far has not been identified. Jagadhri owes its importance to the Sikh chief Rai Singh of Buriya. The town had been entirely destroyed by Nadir Shah (1736-1747), but was rebuilt by Rai Singh in 1783. It lapsed to the British Government in 1829. KM Unlisted. Extremely Fine+, Very Scarce. Estimate
