Afghanistan Durranis, Silver Rupee, 11.51g, Ahmad Shah (1747-1772 AD), Dar us Sultanat Kabul Mint, AH 1175/ 15 RY (1761 AD). Bold well centered strike on both sides with complete inscriptions: In this year 1175 AH (1761 CE), 3rd battle of Panipat was fought when Ahmed Shah Abdali led a powerful Afghan army against the Marathas, marking one of the largest and bloodiest conflicts in the 18th century. The battle resulted in a decisive victory for Abdali and his allies, changing the course of Indian history and solidifying his influence in the region. First time offered in any Indian auction.
