Maratha Confederacy, Patwardhans of Miraj, Silver Rupee, 11.22gm, Minted Tasgaon (flower mint mark on obv. right side), struck at Murtazabad, in the name of Shah Alam Bahadur, Fasli Era 1202/27, Obv: Shri Ganapati in Devanagari above Persian legend Shah Alam Bahadur Badshah Ghazi, and Fasli date 1202, Rev: Sri Pantapradhan in Devanagari above Manus Maimanat sanah julus and mint name. KM 332. Collector aquire this ganpati pantapradhn coin in 1990 from descendents of Patwardhan of tasgaon from where the original minting of these coins was done . Though it's mint name is Murtazabad coin may have struck at tasgaon. A peculiar mint mark indicates the mint other than Miraj. From a private collection in maharashtra.
