Medieval Gujarat, unattributed Copper Coin (700-800 AD),1.08g, 10 X 8 mm. Obv: Figure of a 'Gandharva' (celestial human being) flying to right. Rev: Trident in the center, Kutila legend engraved retrograde reading Shri Vishala(raja?)... around. From the legend it is evident that the coin was issued by a king named 'Vishalaraja' or 'Visalaraja'. It is not certain to which dynasty he belonged, but at this time many small Rajput dynasties rose to prominence in Gujarat. Very Fine, Rare. Estimate
